Surface Prep Concentrate
SiF Surface Prep is a highly concentrated alkaline cleaner and degreaser designed for preparing concrete, stone, pavers and masonry surfaces prior to cleaning or sealing. It effectively removes oils, grease, dirt, grime and general contaminants, helping restore surface cleanliness and improve the performance of subsequent treatments.
This versatile, water-based cleaner is suitable for use on a wide range of washable substrates including concrete, masonry, brick, paving, stone, tiles, tools and equipment, subject to testing. Its concentrated formula allows flexible dilution depending on the level of contamination.
SiF Surface Prep can also be added to SiF Building Wash to help boost cleaning power where road grime, traffic film or oily contaminants are present.
Dilution Guide
Dilution will vary depending on the level of contamination and surface type.
• General purpose cleaning: Dilute 1:50 with water
• Lightly soiled surfaces: Dilute 1:10 with water
• Heavy grease or contamination: Dilute up to 1:1 with water, allow to dwell, scrub if required, then rinse thoroughly
Organic Growth Cleaning (SH Compatible)
SiF Surface Prep can be used alongside sodium hypochlorite (SH) when treating surfaces affected by organic growth.
Example mix:
• 17.6L water
• 2L SiF Surface Prep
• 0.4L SH
Always perform a small test area to confirm product suitability, dilution strength and surface compatibility before full application.
