This premium hands-on training will introduce contractors to the SiF system for exterior cleaning, surface preparation and sealing, bringing internationally recognised expertise together with local support for the New Zealand market.
The training will be delivered by the team behind the system:
Carl UrbaniIndustrial Chemist and formulator of the SiF Sealers product range. Carl will provide insight into coating chemistry, substrate behaviour, surface preparation and correct sealer selection.
Jarrah DwyerFounder of Perth Softwash and experienced exterior cleaning contractor. Jarrah will present the practical systems used by successful exterior cleaning businesses, including chemical application, equipment setups and operational workflows.
Matt Caldwell – SiF Sealers NZMatt will host the training and provide local New Zealand support and ongoing technical assistance for contractors implementing the SiF system.
Following the training, Matt will remain the primary NZ contact for:
• product supply• technical support• application advice• troubleshooting• contractor support

The SiF Sealer Difference:
Our proprietary additives act as a bridge. Instead of being repelled by moisture, the sealer uses the water remaining in the pores as a carrier to "wick" itself deeper into the substrate.
Zero Performance Loss:
Even though it applies to wet surfaces, the final cured barrier offers the same elite-level resistance to salt, oil,
and organic growth as it would on dry concrete.
No "Blushing":
Because the formula is vapour-permeable, any remaining moisture can safely
evaporate through the sealer without causing white cloudy patches.

How to Apply
- Clean the surface then rinse thoroughly
- Sealer can be applied to a damp surfaceFree of visible or pooled water, broom off or use a blower to removeSurface needs to be touch dry
Always add water to the concentrated sealer!

- Working from the furthest point, begin spraying the sealer while walking backwards
- Sealer should be sprayed in an even flood coat at a rate of approximately 5m2 per litre – depending on porosity
- Sealer should remain wet on the surface for at least 5 minutes
- Only one flood coat is required, however if the surface is very porous, additional sealer can be applied
- Avoid over spraying sealer on surrounding surfaces.
- A microfiber mop or similar is required to spread the sealer after the initial light spray
- A second application may be required if the surface still accepts sealer
- The surface should be buffed or wiped dry with the mop after each application.

- Don’t apply if pools of water present
- Don’t apply to hot surfaces (>30 degC), mist with water to cool
- Don’t allow sealer to pool, remove excess
- Avoid contacting surfaces not meant to being sealed
- Don’t apply if rain expected in at least 24 hours
- Cleaning of sealed surfaces recommended every 12 months with NPH CleanerHarsh chemicals: acids, alkalines, solvents will effect sealer longevity
